The HealthReach Food Monitoring consists of an analysis of your current diet, lifestyle & current health by one of our nutritionists and drawing up a mean plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.
After completing a food diary or nutritional questionnaire, a Public Health Nutritionist will analyses your current diet. By doing so they can offer many detailed nutritional recommendations based on your health goals. Common health issues addressed this way include:
- Weight management
- Cholesterol management
- Inflammatory conditions i.e. sore muscles and joints
- Cancer and cardiovascular risk management
- Blood sugar balance
- Continual tiredness and lethargy etc
In addition to these recommendations, a four week healthy eating plan, specifically designed around Basal Metabolic rate (BMR) can help achieve your health goals.
Your Basal Metabolic Rate is calculated by a “Bioimpedance Analyser” - a quick, pain free test that calculates your:
- Percentage body fat
- Body fat in kg
- Target weight
- Lean muscle mass in kg
- Your optimal target weight for health
- Your hydration status
- Your Basal Metabolic Rate
You will receive calorie controlled recipes for a four week healthy eating plan. Your plan will include specific advice about cholesterol and blood pressure lowering foods, foods that asthma management, tackling a “sweet-tooth”, addressing carbohydrate cravings, eating out etc. as relates to your specific health concerns.
